Recession - this is the common word now in every common man's mouth....I'm eternally confused as what recession is.....coz...does recession really exists???? tht's what is haunting me for the past few days....
I have never once seen Prince jewellery or LKS or GRT or Lalitha jewellery or Tanishq without a huge lot of people...
Has any one stopped going to the malls or multiplexes where they charge a fortune even for a keychain??? has anyone stopped going to parties??? has anybody stopped going to pubs????
When the world is rassling with the major setback called the recession and the common man is dreadful of whether he will have a job tomorrow or end up yapping at home...these rotting politicians are bloody bothered about anything....They celebrate pongal in their house by decorating their house gate only with fruits and vegetables (whereas a common man struggles to find a way to make both ends meet).....really pissed off to see all these.....
We have our finance minister PC to tell that our country is nowhere close to recession and it faces only an economic slowdown…..What’s happening????? Does recession really exists in India????? Friends, what say??????????

Two months before one of my very close relative went abroad with his family accepting new assignment.
He sold all the household items and discontinued his daughter's (I std) studies.
At present, he is under the circumstance that whether he can continue his work there or return home.
RECESSION
Finally the bubble had to burst one day and it did……Recession. Yes all over people talk about recession yet like you said the malls, the jewellery shops and partying ….. goes on and on. I know there is a slow down.
Every major department store is experiencing sales decline. We read and see daily SALE SALE 50% off….40% off it’s an eye wash there is a drop in sale. People don’t realize it that is why some malls are full up to the neck.
The Finance Minister C says recession will not affect our country. Is he worried or is it you and me.
Recession has yet to hit India, like it has to the US and other European countries; only then every citizen of India will understand the word ‘Recession’. It has hit sectors of our country real estate, tourism…….
The construction projects have either been put on hold or cancelled.
Staying in God’s Own Country I know Tourism has been badly hit. One can see the boats all lined up in the backwaters abandoned or waiting for tourist. The resorts ………villas…… are deserted. So obviously, there is a slow down. Freebies being introduced like slashing in hotel rates, offering buy-one-get –free, or air tickets free……oil massage free etc,are some of the measures being introduced.
Who are the losers? The losers are the invisible majority.
